Choragos is the leader of the Chorus of men throughout The Oedipus Cycle. He often interacts with the characters, but usually doesn't influence the story greatly. Perhaps his greatest role was when he convinced Oedipus to not execute Creon when Oedipus lashed out against Creon, believing him to be a conspirator against him.
